in New Zealand and Australia, Teacher training in New Zealand, MA in Education at the University of Auckland, and a PhD in Education at Monash University in Australia.

He taught the course through a wide range of teaching materials used to engage his students, along with one-on-one interactions in class to provide opportunities to ask him questions and practice speaking using the Japanese language.

He catered to students of all abilities perfectly, teaching at a pace which was steady for true beginners of the Japanese language, but also provided extra care for those who excelled and required more advanced lessons simultaneously.

I am writing this recommendation as I am very grateful for his teaching towards my first steps into the Japanese language. He is an exceptional Japanese teacher who not only is professional and adapts to the students’ abilities, but he is also a teacher who cares in the language learning journey of his students.
